One of the most exciting parts of the programme for New Zealand
schools was the audioconferences, which ran each week, on Thursdays
at 2pm (New Zealand time).
For each audioconference, eight speaking schools could submit
questions, and then select one student to ask a question live
by telephone. All registered schools could listen to the call
by dialling the audioconference line.
